Pakistan–EU Diplomatic engagement strengthens amid regional developments
ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar received a phone call from the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, to discuss ongoing regional developments and bilateral cooperation.
According to stated by Foreign Affairs During the conversation, Senator Dar appreciated the consistent and close engagement between Pakistan and the European Union, particularly in the context of the evolving regional situation. He also briefed the EU High Representative on the latest developments regarding the recently held Islamabad Talks.
Kaja Kallas commended Pakistan’s constructive and proactive role in facilitating direct negotiations between the United States and Iran, highlighting Islamabad’s contribution to regional peace efforts. Both leaders underscored the importance of continued dialogue and diplomatic engagement to achieve a peaceful resolution of ongoing conflicts.
The two sides expressed satisfaction over the growing cooperation between Pakistan and the European Union and agreed to remain in close contact on all matters of mutual interest.
