Saudi Arabia says Pakistan sends fighter jets to kingdom under defence pact
Pakistan has deployed fighter jets and additional military personnel to Saudi Arabia as part of a bilateral defence agreement, according to a statement released السبت by the Saudi Ministry of Defence. The move comes as Islamabad hosts diplomatic talks focused on ending the ongoing Iran conflict.
The ministry confirmed that Pakistani fighter and support aircraft have arrived at King Abdulaziz Air Base in Saudi Arabia’s eastern region.
Officials stated that the deployment is intended to enhance joint defence cooperation and contribute to regional as well as global security and stability.
