Sonam Kapoor welcomes second child in heartfelt social media post
MUMBAi: Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and entrepreneur Anand Ahuja have announced the arrival of their second child, a baby boy, on Sunday. Sharing the news on Instagram, the couple expressed their joy and gratitude.
“With immense gratitude and hearts full of love, we are thrilled to welcome our baby boy today, 29th March 2026. Our family has grown, and with his arrival, our hearts have expanded beautifully. Vayu is overjoyed to meet his little brother, and we feel truly blessed by this precious new life who has filled our home with happiness and grace. We are grateful to start this wonderful new chapter as a family of four,” the post read, signed by both parents and their eldest son, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja.
The announcement drew an outpouring of congratulatory messages from fans and celebrities alike. Stars including Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Sandeep Khosla sent their wishes, filling the comments section with love and heart emojis.

Sonam and Anand, who married in 2018, welcomed their first child in 2022. With the arrival of their second son, the couple now begin a new chapter as a family of four.
