Iranian Unity Deals Major Blow to Enemy Front, Leader Says
TEHRAN: The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei, has highlighted the importance of national unity in Iran, stating that the strong solidarity among Iranian citizens has weakened the efforts of their adversaries.
In a message posted on the social media platform X on Thursday, the Leader said that the “remarkable unity” formed among the Iranian people has created divisions within enemy ranks. According to him, this unprecedented cohesion has disrupted the plans and calculations of those who seek to undermine the Islamic Republic.
He further stressed that such unity should be appreciated as a divine blessing and must be strengthened through practical and meaningful actions. He noted that continued efforts in this direction would make national solidarity “stronger and more resilient,” while leaving Iran’s opponents “weaker and more disappointed.”
Ayatollah Khamenei also warned about what he described as ongoing psychological and media warfare against Iran. He stated that hostile media outlets are attempting to influence public opinion and mental attitudes in order to weaken national unity and internal security. He urged vigilance, cautioning that negligence could allow these efforts to succeed.
The message was shared at a time when Iran is facing multiple external pressures, including economic sanctions, political threats, and information campaigns, reportedly led by the United States, Israel, and some Western allies, according to Press TV.
Separately, on the same day, the heads of Iran’s three branches of government—executive, legislative, and judicial—responded jointly to recent remarks made by former U.S. President Donald Trump. They rejected his comments about alleged divisions between “extremists and moderates” within Iran, calling them baseless and provocative.
President Masoud Pezeshkian, Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, and Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei collectively emphasized a unified national stance, reinforcing the message of internal cohesion and opposition to external interference.
