Pakistan, Portugal Discuss Regional Stability and Bilateral Cooperation
ISLAMABAD (News Pulse): Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, held a telephone conversation today with Portugal’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Paulo Rangel, to discuss the evolving regional situation and avenues for strengthening bilateral ties.
According to stated Foreign Office During the call, Senator Ishaq Dar emphasized the urgent need for de-escalation in the region and highlighted Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to promote lasting peace and stability through dialogue and diplomatic engagement.
Minister Paulo Rangel expressed full support for Pakistan’s initiatives, appreciating the government’s role in facilitating constructive dialogue and fostering regional peace.
Both leaders also welcomed the positive momentum in Pakistan–Portugal relations and agreed to enhance cooperation across areas of mutual interest. They underscored the importance of sustained high-level exchanges and committed to maintaining close coordination moving forward.
