Helicopter crashed in New York in Hudson River, 6 reported dead
NEW YORK: A seven- seater single-engine Bell helicopter crashed into the Hudson River in New York City, with Mayer Eric Adams describing a ‘heartbreaking and tragic’ incident.
USA Media reported the Video footage from local media showed rescue boats surrounding the overturned Bell 206 helicopter, crash at Pier 40 at 3:17 p.m. Their conditions are not known and authorities are still searching for one missing body, the official said.
“Due to a helicopter crash in the Hudson River, in the vicinity of the West Side Highway and spring street, expect emergency vehicles and traffic delays in the surrounding areas.
