DG ISPR Vows to Continue Anti-Terror Operations Until Last Terrorist Is Eliminated

ISLAMABAD: (News Pulse) Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said that intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will continue until the complete elimination of the last terrorist.
During a special interactive session with students, the DG ISPR held a comprehensive discussion on Pakistan’s security situation, regional challenges and the security challenges facing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He said the entire nation acknowledged the enduring sacrifices made by the Pashtun people and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police in defending Pakistan against terrorism.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry also appreciated the confidence of the younger generation in the Pakistan Armed Forces and their commitment to safeguarding the country’s security.
He stressed that national unity and the supremacy of law were essential to countering hostile forces and those seeking to create instability in the country. He expressed confidence that collective efforts would foil their designs.
The session also provided students an opportunity to discuss the security situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and understand the reasons behind the imposition of Governor’s Rule in the province, along with its anticipated implications.
At the conclusion of the session, students expressed their resolve to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Pakistan Armed Forces and contribute to the defence and security of the country.
One of the students said the session had helped them understand the reasons behind Governor’s Rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and its potential positive effects.
Another student said the interaction had enhanced their understanding of the Pakistan Army’s role in maintaining security and expressed pride in the country’s armed forces.
The students also thanked the DG ISPR for the Pakistan Army’s role in addressing security challenges in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and reaffirmed their commitment to national unity and the defence of the motherland.
