Pakistan Successfully Tests Extended Version of Fatah-4 Cruise Missile
Indigenously developed weapon system equipped with advanced avionics and navigation aids; test validates enhanced accuracy and survivability parameters
ISLAMABAD: (News Pulse) Pakistan on Monday successfully conducted a test launch of the extended version of the indigenously developed Fatah-4 Ground-Launched Cruise Missile (GLCM), according to the military’s media wing.
According to ISPR That the Fatah-4 extended version is equipped with advanced avionics and state-of-the-art navigational aids, enabling the weapon system to engage targets at extended ranges with high precision and effectiveness.
The test also validated additional technical parameters of various subsystems incorporated into the missile system to improve its accuracy and enhance its survivability.
The launch was witnessed by senior officers of the Pakistan Army, along with scientists and engineers from the development agency involved in the project.
The President, Prime Minister, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, and Services Chiefs congratulated all those involved on the successful test launch of the Fatah-4 extended version.
They also appreciated the technical expertise, dedication and commitment of the scientists, engineers and other personnel who contributed to achieving the milestone.
The successful test reflects Pakistan’s continued efforts to strengthen its indigenous defence capabilities and advance the technological sophistication of its missile systems.
