Security Forces Kill 11 Militants in Balochistan Operations
Five militants eliminated in Panjgur, six others killed in separate Chagai operations; weapons and ammunition recovered
QUETTA: Security forces have killed 11 militants in separate intelligence-based operations in Balochistan’s Panjgur and Chagai districts under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, security sources said.
According to security sources, an operation was conducted in the Gwargo area of Panjgur, where five militants were killed during the action.
In separate operations carried out in Aminabad and Siah Chang areas of Chagai, six more militants were killed, the sources said.
A substantial quantity of weapons and ammunition was also recovered during the operations in Chagai, according to security sources.
The operations were conducted as part of ongoing efforts by security forces to disrupt militant activities and prevent attacks in different parts of Balochistan.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the security forces for carrying out the operations and commended their professionalism and operational capabilities.
Naqvi paid tribute to the personnel who participated in the operations, saying the security forces had demonstrated their determination to safeguard national security and thwart militant plans.
The interior minister expressed pride in the personnel involved in Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, saying the nation stood firmly with the security forces in the fight against terrorism.
He said operations against groups referred to by the government as Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij were continuing with full force and would remain ongoing until the threats were addressed.
