Kalin and Asim Malik discuss Middle East developments amid heightened regional tensions

ISLAMABAD: (News Pulse) Türkiye’s intelligence chief Ibrahim Kalin held talks with Lieutenant General Muhammad Asim Malik, Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (DG ISI) and Pakistan’s National Security Adviser (NSA), with discussions focusing on regional security and efforts to ease tensions in the Middle East.

According to ISPR that, the meeting provided an opportunity for the two sides to exchange views on the evolving security situation in the region and developments affecting peace and stability in the Middle East.

The officials also discussed ongoing efforts to reduce tensions and promote diplomatic engagement aimed at preventing further escalation in the region.

The meeting underscored the importance of continued coordination and dialogue between Pakistan and Türkiye on regional security matters and efforts to support peace and stability.

The talks come amid heightened regional tensions, with diplomatic initiatives continuing to seek ways to de-escalate the situation and prevent further conflict.
