Son and Daughter-in-Law of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei Martyr in Israeli and U.S. Attacks

ISLAMABAD: The son and daughter-in-law of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, have been killed in attacks carried out by Israel and the United States.

The Iranian Embassy in Pakistan confirmed the news, stating that the Supreme Leader’s son, Seyyed Mojtaba, and his wife, Zahra Haddad Adel, were killed in the attacks.

Earlier, in an interview with NBC News, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that, according to his information, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is alive.

Speaking about the ongoing tensions between Iran, Israel, and the United States, Abbas Araghchi said that former U.S. President Donald Trump’s message regarding regime change in Iran is impractical. He clarified that there is currently no direct contact with the United States; however, if Washington seeks dialogue, it knows how to reach the Iranian leadership. He added that any potential negotiations would require the attacks to stop first.

He further stated that one or two commanders have been killed, but most officials remain safe. According to him, an agreement is possible that could guarantee the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program. Abbas Araghchi also said that Iran does not have the capability to target the United States and will not develop missiles capable of reaching American territory.
