Pakistan and China Reaffirm Strategic Partnership at 7th Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue
BEIJING: At the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar visited Beijing to co-chair the 7th Round of the Pakistan–China Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed the full spectrum of Pakistan–China relations and discussed key regional and global issues. Exchanges of views were held on the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), trade, multilateral cooperation, and people-to-people exchanges.
Emphasizing the importance of the All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership, the two leaders reaffirmed that the Pakistan–China friendship remains vital for peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and for both countries. They also agreed to further strengthen coordination at bilateral and multilateral forums.
Additionally, both sides agreed to celebrate in a befitting manner the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China.
