Al Ittihad moved eight points clear on top of the Saudi Pro League standings following a 2-0 home win over Al Orubah in Jeddah.
Hernandez opened the scoring deep into added time in the first half with a long range strike, before Abdulrahman sealed the victory in the 88th minute.
Al Ittihad climbed to 65 points with seven matches left, eight clear of Al Hilal, who travel to Al Ettifaq for their game in hand.
