Pakistan should be helped. He expressed these views while talking to the media along with Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Karachi Airport on Saturday.

He said that millions of people have been displaced due to floods, crops have been destroyed, animals have been washed away, people have lost everything including their homes and livelihood in flood-affected areas, such a situation is creating a human tragedy in Pakistan. .
He said that climate change is the major problem of today, Pakistan is paying the price of the actions of other countries, the share of G20 countries in carbon emissions is 80%, developing countries should come forward to deal with the challenges of climate change. Industrialised countries should reduce the worst carbon emissions, today Pakistan is suffering from climate change, tomorrow it will be another country, if immediate steps are not taken, there will be a lot of danger in the future.
The Secretary General said that in this hour of difficulty, the United Nations and international organisations should help Pakistan because Pakistan urgently needs huge financial assistance to rehabilitate millions of people. He said that the developed countries have to think seriously about how to help the developing countries in case of disaster, they need a new mechanism to help other developing countries including Pakistan to deal with the difficult financial situation.
