TEHRAN: \u00a0Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has met with Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei to discuss the latest political, military and economic developments in the country amid continued pressure from the United States and Israel.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to Iran\u2019s Tasnim News Agency<\/a>, the meeting focused on what Iranian officials described as US-Israeli military, economic and cognitive warfare against the country, with both sides stressing the need to strengthen Iran\u2019s national capabilities and consolidate its internal stability.<\/p>\n

The discussions highlighted the importance of maintaining national unity and social cohesion, particularly amid the challenges facing the country. Both leaders underscored the role of members of Parliament in strengthening public solidarity, preserving social cohesion and supporting national interests during the ongoing crisis.<\/p>\n

They also emphasized the importance of the Iranian public\u2019s continued and conscious participation in public gatherings, describing the nation\u2019s presence as a significant factor in demonstrating unity and serving as a deterrent against external pressure.<\/p>\n

The meeting also addressed the economic challenges facing ordinary Iranians, with both sides stressing the need for closer cooperation between the government and Parliament to tackle livelihood-related difficulties and improve economic conditions.<\/p>\n
