Consensus<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Delighted to receive credentials of new ambassadors: UN Conference on Disarmament President: Tahir Andarbi<\/p>\n<p>GENEVA: President of the Conference on Disarmament (CD) <a href=\"http:\/\/@TahirAndrabi\">Tahir Andrabi<\/a> has expressed pleasure at receiving the credentials of newly appointed ambassadors and permanent representatives, stressing the importance of trust, cooperation and consensus in advancing the forum\u2019s work.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, Andrabi said he was delighted, in his capacity as President of the Conference on Disarmament, to meet the Secretary-General of the CD and Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva.<\/p>\n<p>He also welcomed ambassadors, permanent representatives and heads of delegations from Argentina, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States.<\/p>\n<p>Andrabi said the meetings reflected a shared commitment to strengthening the work of the Conference on Disarmament through confidence-building, greater cooperation and a spirit of consensus.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-19460\" efforts to promote global peace and
