However, rumours of differences and a possible separation between the couple had been circulating on social media for some time. Khan had previously denied the reports, saying that her married life was going well.<\/p>\n<p>The actress had also removed her wedding pictures from social media, reportedly to protect her marriage from the evil eye. The move subsequently sparked further speculation among her fans about the couple\u2019s relationship.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement posted on Instagram, Zain Hamid confirmed that he divorced Nimra Khan on July 17. He said the decision was made because of irreconcilable personal differences and differences in their priorities in life.<\/p>\n<p>Hamid said he did not want to blame anyone for the end of the marriage, adding that the decision to separate was made mutually. He also revealed that legal divorce proceedings had begun and that the matter had been handed over to lawyers.<\/p>\n<p>He further said that the end of a marriage is equally difficult for both men and women and that he did not wish to engage in further discussion or blame over the matter.<\/p>\n<p>Hamid expressed his best wishes for Nimra Khan and prayed for her happiness and success in the future.<\/p>\n<p>Nimra Khan\u2019s marriage to Zain Hamid was her second.
