Iran expresses solidarity with Oman after Trump\u2019s reported threat over Strait of Hormuz<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Iran has voiced strong solidarity with Oman following reported remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump, in which he allegedly threatened to \u201cblow up\u201d Oman if it did not \u201cbehave just like everybody else\u201d regarding control and influence over the Strait of Hormuz.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei<\/a>, Tehran stands firmly with Oman and condemns what it described as \u201cthreats from U.S. officials.\u201d Baghaei emphasized that Iran considers such statements destabilizing for the region and supportive of escalating tensions in the strategically sensitive Gulf area.<\/p>\n

The controversy centers around the Strait of Hormuz, a critical maritime chokepoint through which a significant portion of global oil shipments pass. Any threat to its security or control is widely seen as a major geopolitical concern, especially for countries in the Middle East and global energy markets.<\/p>\n
