The Speaker warmly received the Ambassador and welcomed him on his visit.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"406\" data-end=\"617\">During the meeting, both sides held comprehensive discussions on Pakistan\u2013EU bilateral relations, explored opportunities to enhance cooperation, and exchanged views on important regional and global developments.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"619\" data-end=\"1004\">Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq reiterated Pakistan\u2019s commitment to further strengthening friendly relations with the European Union, highlighting the vital role of parliamentary diplomacy in advancing shared objectives. He emphasized that stronger inter-parliamentary engagement between Pakistan and EU member states could significantly contribute to mutual understanding and collaboration.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1006\" data-end=\"1184\">The Speaker also conveyed his best wishes for peace and stability in Europe, particularly in Ukraine, and expressed hope for a peaceful settlement of the Russia\u2013Ukraine conflict.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1186\" data-end=\"1495\">Ambassador Raimundas Karoblis congratulated Pakistan on maintaining its GSP+ status and expressed his strong desire to further expand cooperation between Pakistan and the European Union.
