West Indies dominate Nepal with a commanding 10-wicket win in the dead rubber clash<\/strong><\/h3>\n

SHARJAH, September 30 \u2014 West Indies<\/a> secured a consolation victory by ten wickets with 46 balls to spare in the third and final T20 International against Nepal at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Despite losing the three-match series 2-1 to Nepal, the two-time T20 World Cup champions denied the hosts a historic clean sweep with a dominant chase of 123 runs.<\/p>\n

Openers Amir Jangoo and Ackeem Auguste led the way for West Indies, compiling an unbeaten partnership to seal the win. Jangoo starred with a commanding 74 not out off 45 balls, featuring five boundaries and six sixes. Auguste complemented the innings with a fluent 41 not out from 29 deliveries, including four fours and two sixes.<\/p>\n

The Caribbean side comfortably reached the target in just 12.2 overs, finishing 123 without loss, as Nepal\u2019s bowlers struggled to make an impact.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Nepal, opting to bat first, were bowled out for 122 in 19.5 overs. Kushal Bhurtel top-scored with 39 runs from 29 balls, hitting two fours and three sixes. However, consistent wickets disrupted Nepal\u2019s momentum, with no other batsman passing 20.<\/p>\n

West Indies bowlers shared the spoils, with Ramon Simmonds being the most effective, claiming 4 wickets for 15 runs in three overs. Jediah Blades took 2 for 20, while Akeal Hosein and Jason Holder chipped in with a wicket each.<\/p>\n

Nepal\u2019s innings was marred by two run-outs and the loss of key partnerships. After the initial 41-run opening stand between Bhurtel and Kushal Malla (12), the innings fell apart, losing five wickets for just 14 runs.<\/p>\n

The victory gives West Indies a morale boost after a tough series defeat, while Nepal can celebrate a historic series win against a top-tier T20 side.<\/p>\n
