The report noted that inflation stood at <strong data-start=\"627\" data-end=\"643\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">3% in August<\/span><\/strong> and averaged <strong data-start=\"657\" data-end=\"665\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">3.5%<\/span><\/strong> over July and August.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"689\" data-end=\"993\">&#8220;Despite the impact of floods, the economy has demonstrated resilience,&#8221; the report said. It highlighted continued <strong data-start=\"804\" data-end=\"837\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">economic growth and stability<\/span><\/strong> during the first two months of the current fiscal year. Notably, <strong data-start=\"903\" data-end=\"943\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">industrial output showed improvement<\/span><\/strong>, even in the face of climate-related disruptions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"995\" data-end=\"1282\">The ministry credited the country\u2019s <strong data-start=\"1031\" data-end=\"1057\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">primary fiscal surplus<\/span><\/strong> to strong <strong data-start=\"1068\" data-end=\"1089\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">fiscal discipline<\/span><\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1091\" data-end=\"1113\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">increased revenues<\/span><\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"1119\" data-end=\"1152\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">better expenditure management<\/span><\/strong>.
