UN Report Alleges 63 Countries Complicit in Gaza Genocide

A new United Nations (UN) report has implicated 63 countries — including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany — in what it describes as Israel’s two-year genocide in the Gaza Strip.

The report, authored by Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories, asserts that the ongoing atrocities in Gaza amount to a “collective crime” sustained by the complicity of powerful “Third States.” These states, the report claims, have enabled Israel’s systematic violations of international law through political, military, and diplomatic support.

“Framed by colonial narratives that dehumanize Palestinians, this live-streamed atrocity has been facilitated through Third States’ direct support, material aid, diplomatic protection, and in some cases, active participation,” the report states. “It has exposed an unprecedented chasm between peoples and their governments, betraying the trust on which global peace and security rest.”

The report warns that the international community is now “on a knife’s edge” between the collapse of international law and the possibility of its renewal. “Renewal is only possible if complicity is confronted, responsibilities are met, and justice is upheld,” it concludes.
